Once you have created your account, you will be asked to complete our verification process. This process consists of several questions in addition to documents we require to verify your identity.
- Fill in your first name(s) and make sure that your input exactly matches your full first name(s) as shown on your ID. This means that if your first names are ‘John Noah Oliver Junior’ according to your ID, you’ll have to provide these four names.
- Fill in your last name(s) and make sure that your input exactly matches your full last name(s) as shown on your ID. This means that if your last names are ‘Miller Davis’ according to your ID, you’ll have to provide both these names.
- Fill in your address, postal code/zip, town and country of residence. Please ensure this exactly matches your address as stated in the proof of address that you are required to upload.
- Fill in your date of birth.
- Upload a proof of address, which should show your name, address and not be older than 3 months. For information on what type of documents we accept, see here.
- Upload your identification document (ID). You can do this by selecting the issuing country of your ID and then selecting the type of ID that you would like to upload. In principle, we only allow a copy of your passport or identity card. Make sure your ID has not expired and is completely visible in the copy (do not cover your ID with your hands or something else).
- Perform a face verification check. During this check, you’ll have to look into the camera so our software can check that you are the same person as the person whose ID has been provided.
- Indicate your primary source of wealth. If you have multiple sources of wealth, please check the box that best describes your largest source of wealth.
- Indicate the primary reason why you would like to trade with us. Choose the one that best describes your reason for trading with us.
- Let us know your expected yearly trading volume by roughly estimating the notional value (in USD) of the trades you intend to make in the next twelve months. For example, if you expect to buy six BTC perpetuals in the next twelve months and the price of BTC is currently $50k, your estimated yearly trading volume is $300k. If you expect to buy/sell 5 BTC call options with a strike price of $20k in the next twelve months, your estimated yearly trading volume is $100k.
- Congratulations on completing the verification process! We seek to approve your account application within 48 hours. Please note that we may reach out to you for further clarification and/or documents if needed.
